What the work is
The product, as a problem to work on.
- Reading a market, night by night.
- Public prices for every hotel an owner competes with, night by night. On the paid plans they are collected from 3 am at the hotel, so the answer is ready when the day starts.
- Being right about what is not there.
- A missing price is not a sold out night. A night is called sold out only when it is confirmed, and a night that could not be confirmed is shown as not known.
- Turning it into a short list.
- Rules mark the nights worth an owner's attention, a model writes the list in plain English, and the rate it suggests is held to what competitors actually charged before anyone sees it.
- Showing the working.
- Each estimate opens to the rate difference, the rooms and the nights it multiplies, and the share of the rooms it assumes, so an owner can check it with a calculator.
