About

Pricing help for hotel owners and operators.

RevStar's AI agent tracks a hotel's own room rates on the booking sites, the prices at nearby hotels, and upcoming events in the area. When a night needs a new price, it recommends a rate and says how much to change and why, with the working shown.

What RevStar is

Most of what decides tonight's rate is public: what the hotel down the road is charging, whether it still has rooms, and whether there is a game, a concert or a conference nearby. Gathering it by hand means checking every competitor, for every night, every day.

RevStar gathers it for you. You choose the hotels you compete with, up to 5, or 10 on the Market plan. It reads their public prices and yours for the next 60 nights, calls a night sold out only when it has checked and not on a missing price alone, lists the events inside the radius you set, and turns all of it into a short list: which nights to raise, lower or hold, the rate it suggests, and the reason.

It is made for the owner or manager who sets the rates without a revenue team behind them. It costs $29.99 or $49.99 a month per hotel, the price is on the page, and you can start without talking to anyone.

Why we built it

RevStar was built by a founder with 20 years of experience in the hotel industry.

The franchise systems and hotel management software we worked with did not give us enough data to price a night correctly. Knowing what the hotels around us were charging meant checking each competitor by hand, every day, or putting a revenue manager in every hotel.

We wanted an owner with several hotels to have that work done for them, with AI doing the daily checking, and to see early which nights deserve a second look, while there is still time to change the rate.

How it is built

Six rules we hold it to.

Each is something the product does today, not something we hope it will. How the data works has the detail.

Sold out means sold out.
A night is marked sold out only after RevStar has looked further and found nothing for sale at that hotel. A missing price on its own is shown as not known, never as full.
An estimate you can check.
In the app, a revenue figure opens to the sum behind it: the rate difference, the rooms and the nights it multiplies, and the share of your rooms it assumes.
It suggests. You decide.
RevStar never changes a rate. You change it yourself, in your own property management system or channel manager.
Public prices, not your books.
It reads what a guest can see online. It does not connect to your reservations, and we ask you not to enter guest data.
The price is on the page.
One flat price per hotel, whatever its size. No quote, no sales call, and 7 days to try it without a card.
It says what it is not.
RevStar is a second opinion on your pricing, not a forecast. Where it does not know something, it says so.

Who is behind it

RevStar is made and operated by Shining Star Software, from the United States, based in Austin, Texas. The company was founded in 2024. It is the company named in the Terms of Service, and the one you are dealing with when you subscribe.

RevStar was founded by a hospitality management group that wanted its own hotels to be more productive.
